My Biography
Mark Gold has been a resident of Sonoma County for 16 years. He moved here from Los Angeles after a career with his family?s furniture business. Mark has two boys and they live in Northeast Santa Rosa . Both boys have been active in the Santa Rosa Central Soccer league as well as Junior and Senior Little League. Mark has been active as a coach of several of their teams.
Over the years Gold has bought and sold real estate and has extensive experience in remodeling older homes. His projects have included a Spanish Duplex in Los Angeles , to Victorian homes in Santa Rosa?s Junior College District, to his current residence in Hidden Valley .
Mark Gold brings with him, to his position with Century 21 Alliance in Santa Rosa, extensive experience in real estate and marketing. His background includes 11 years in Management at the Press Democrat where he was involved in real estate, classified, and retail advertising. Additionally he was responsible for new product development and was instrumental in the development and launch of many of the current real estate advertising products in use today. Before joining the Press Democrat, Gold spent six years in residential lending at Investors Trust Mortgage and commercial real estate sales/leasing with TRI Commercial Brokerage.
Building his business on referrals, Gold believes that every one of his clients should receive SOLID GOLD care during their real estate transactions.
Gold is a CDPE - Certified Distressed Property Expert, EcoGreen Certified, and e-PRO Technology Certified
Community involvement
Mark has also been active in several non-profit causes, raising funds for Youth Business Week, the Workforce Development Conference, Easter Seals, and was involved for 5 years with the Press Democrat's Celebrate Community program. Mark was a member of the board of directors for the Phoenix Theatre. He has also been a member of the Board of the Santa Rosa Chapter of Realtors and on the Marketing Committee of the North Bay Association of Realtors. Mark is currently a volunteer as a Big Brother in the local Big Brother, Big Sister program.
