Mark Gold has been a resident of Sonoma County for over 20 years. He moved here from Los Angeles after a career with his family's furniture business. Mark has two boys and they all still live in Northeast Santa Rosa . Both boys have been active in the Santa Rosa Central Soccer league as well as Junior and Senior Little League. Mark has been active as a coach of several of their teams. His boys now work: his oldest son is the Tasting Room Manager at Kenwood Vineyards and his youngest son was Director at Camp Wa-tum and now operates a local tour company, Day Tripping. Mark recently married his long time girlfriend Teresa Jackson,who currently works at Fannie Mae. They have been together for almost 10 years and have blended their two families together. Teresa's two children, Giorgia & Ian are both off on their own after finishing school. Giorgia works at an import wine telemarketing company in San Diego, and Ian after finishing up his studies in music production in Vancouver, Canada, now works in the music industry in Long Beach, CA. Mark & Teresa are avid amateur chefs and together they enjoy all that Sonoma County has to offer in the world of food and wine. When not at home, they love to travel the world.
Over the years Gold has bought and sold real estate and has extensive experience in remodeling older homes. His projects have included a Spanish Duplex in Los Angeles , to Victorian homes in Santa Rosa's Junior College District, to his current residence in NE Santa Rosa. Having recently gotten married to Teresa Jackson, the newlywed couple plan to renovate their current home to accommodate their new family lifestyle together. Gold has sold everything from condos to homes for first time buyers, country property to estates, farms, and ranches. One of his early accomplishments in real estate was the sale of the MC Donald Mansion in Santa Rosa.
Mark Gold brings with him, to his position with Century 21 Alliance in Santa Rosa, extensive experience in real estate and marketing. His background includes 11 years in Management at the Press Democrat where he was involved in real estate, classified, and retail advertising. Additionally he was responsible for new product development and was instrumental in the development and launch of many of the current real estate advertising products in use today. Before joining the Press Democrat, Gold spent six years in residential lending at Investors Trust Mortgage and commercial real estate sales/leasing with TRI Commercial Brokerage.

Gold is a REALTOR who also has special training and certifications including: CDPE - Certified Distressed Property Expert; EcoGreen Certified Real Estate Agent; Certified HAFA Specialist; and e-PRO Technology Certified. MR Gold and his company, Century 21 Alliance, are Diamond Certified. He is also a member in good standing of ProNet, an exclusive agent marketing group and a founder and 10 year member of Alliance Builders, a Business Network International marketing group. Mark has also been active in several non-profit causes, raising funds for Youth Business Week, the Workforce Development Conference, Easter Seals, and was involved for 5 years with the Press Democrat's Celebrate Community program. Mark was a member of the board of directors for the Phoenix Theater. He has also been a member of the Board of the Santa Rosa Chapter of Realtors and on the Marketing Committee of the North Bay Association of Realtors. Mark also was a volunteer as a Big Brother in the local Big Brother, Big Sister program.
